How does Bin Valet work?

Once you subscribe, you tell us:

  • Your service address
  • Bin collection day
  • Number of bins
  • Any access instructions (gate code, where bins are kept, etc.)

On each collection day we:

  1. Come to your property,
  2. Move your bins from their usual spot to the kerb in time for council collection,
  3. Return them to your designated spot after they’ve been emptied.

You don’t need to be home – as long as we can safely access the bins, we handle the rest.

What areas in Auckland do you service?

We currently service selected suburbs across Auckland, focusing on areas where weekly collections are consistent and access is safe for our team.

You can check if we service your address by:

If we are not in your area yet, you can still contact us or join the waitlist. We are expanding into more Auckland suburbs as demand grows.

How much does it cost and is there a contract?

Bin Valet is a simple monthly subscription:

  • Flat monthly fee based on number of bins and service type (household or Airbnb).
  • Billed automatically each month on your billing date.

Contracts:

  • No long-term lock-in.
  • You can cancel anytime before your next billing cycle to avoid the next month’s charge.
  • No refunds for part-used months (we’ll keep servicing you until the end of your paid period).

Can I pause, change or cancel my Bin Valet subscription?

Yes.

  • Change details:
    You can update service address, bin day, access instructions – just contact us or update your customer account (if enabled).

  • Pause service:
    Going away or pausing an Airbnb? You can request a temporary pause from the next billing cycle.

  • Cancel subscription:
    Cancel anytime before your next billing date and your service will stop at the end of the current paid period.
